Quick Start Guide to Moving In to Aventura Isles | By Susan Milgrom

You already got the house of your dreams, you were approved by the Aventura Isles Homeowners Association and you also attended the orientation appointment with the community manager. But, where do you start?

We know the effort it takes to move to a different place, city or country. New residents want to explore the area, know the services offered near you and take a walk around the community to feel quickly at ease.

While you get your house in order, organize meals, start new schedules and routines, there are boxes everywhere. The members of the family arm themselves with patience, and soon the calm will arrive and it’ll all be worth it.

The idea is to do it in a smooth and organized way, without losing your sense of humor. Here’s a list of phone numbers, websites and important data you may need, like the number of the community’s pizza delivery we always order or where to take leftover boxes once your move-in is over.

There’s an easy-to-use app, with the instructions to install the Aventura Isles Gate app, mobile or desktop, to authorize guests.

Residents must provide, in advance, the first and last name or name of the company they wish to grant access to via mobile phone or computer to allow the entry to the guests. To avoid traffic at the gate of Aventura Isles, guards may make a courtesy call to the resident, depending on the traffic.

Drivers must have a valid ID or license so they are allowed in.

Garbage schedules:

The garbage in the green can is usually picked up every Monday and Thursday around 8:30 a.m. You can leave the cans on the edge of the street the night before. They must be taken away and stored in a non-visible place before the same night the garbage is picked up.

The trash in the recycling or blue can is usually picked up on Mondays, every 15 days. You must leave the can on the edge of the street at least 5 feet away from the green can or other obstacles like vehicles or light posts.
